Klungkung regency is one of nine regencies / municipalities in Bali island, with region area approximately 315 km. Physically Klungkung regency, Bali seemed to be on land and two-thirds are in the islands, the island of Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan.

Klungkung regency administration consists of 4 districts as  Banjarangkan, Klungkung, Dawan and Nusa Penida. The distance from the center of Klungkung regency to the capital of Bali province, about 40 km ; from Ngurah Rai International Airport about 60 km ; from the port of Benoa about 50 km.

 1.Transportation “ Port “ ( Dermaga )
Sea transport heading to Nusa Penida in addition to use traditional crossing through ports Kusamba Beach about 7 km to the east of Semarapura town and now it can be done by using the RoRo Ferry (Nusa Jaya Abadi) through Padang Bai port at Manggis district, Karangasem regency. For transport facility , Klungkung regency government has built new port  in Gunaksa village, Klungkung ( Ex Galian C ) will give very good economy prospect result in high mobility of transportation activities.

 

A. ODTW integrated ( Tourist Attraction Places )
Galian C area which is located in Gunaksa village, Dawan district, Tangkas & Jumpai, Klungkung with a wide area beside the port also has potential tourist attractions object  such as golf course, resort and other water attractions / water sport activities.

B. Development and Capacity of Clean Water Systems

 Nusa Penida is the regional water crisis, because of little bit water surface area , society should take advantage by collecting rainwater through cubing. Springs water is available in Nusa Penida as:
Penida springs water in Sakti village with water  debit at 200 liters / second. The distance about 17 km from the district town
• Guyangan spring water in Batu kandik village, discharge 179 liters / second. The distance about 20 km from the district town

* Bukit Abah ( Abah Hill )

Bukit Abah is located in Besan village, Dawan district at an altitude about 580 meters above the sea.
